72 hours to go! All hands on deck!

Eyo all!
The final 72 hours have arrived. We'll probably hit the 5500 goal in the next couple of hours, and we hope to hit a couple more stretch goals in this last sprint.
We've revealed the last couple of stretch goals for you all to see what we're working towards and I've got a nice little preview about the Improviser, the class that'll be unlocked if/when we hit 7k.
The Improviser is an entirely nonmagical class with unparalleled versatility. It uses improvised weapons as its primary means of attack, gaining different Improvisational Tricks along the way. These tricks can be almost anything. From gaining a flyspeed by clever use of hookshots to cobbling together armor that explodes into the opponent's face to fielding magnetic caltrops that chase metal-wearing opponents (or friends if you're not careful) down.
Hope this gives a last good burst of hype. It would be a great last addition to the book! Thank you all so far for your help, you're all the best.
All the best and enjoy your week,
Mark

In this pre-final update, we have a couple of fellow creators that we would love to shout out to. A rising tide lifts all ships!
Within a story built to minimize prep time without sacrificing quality you are encouraged to explore a world above the clouds in a unique node-based adventure.
Picture a world where islands float in the sky, held aloft by ancient unknown magic. The Skylands entice bold adventurers to unveil their enigmatic peaks, navigate perilously unknown islands, and discover unimaginable treasures. Your party, shipwrecked and marooned on an unfamiliar island, must find a means of escape. However, the Skylands are not for the faint-hearted. In their quest for freedom, they will encounter scavengers, crafty smugglers, and influential factions vying for dominion over these airborne realms. Sailing through the treacherous Dire Strait is a trial of skill and bravery. Here, the sky teems with danger; colliding islands, formidable pirates, and mythical creatures await those who dare to cross. They will require a rare Skymap to navigate these hazardous waters. Will they dare to brave the demon-cursed island of Iblis for the secrets it conceals, or will they find another way to reach their goal? Will they join forces with the noble Chancery, or align themselves with the cunning Morr Holdings? Regardless of their choice, they will shape the very fate of the Skylands.
The giants of Gorgonia are on the rampage and you, as a newly inducted assassin of the Claw of the Raven, a chapter of the assassin's guild dedicated to the termination of titans, have the opportunity to raise your reputation. Can you kill a colossus in a surprise round and become the Killer of Giants?
Killer of Giants is a DnD 5E game of gaining knowledge. In the lead up to the hit, you attempt to learn an accurate stat block of your target. A trip to the library may reveal damage vulnerabilities or immunities (although a bad roll may misinform you). A trip to the armoury gives you access to thousands of traps to craft. An interview with an eye witness may reveal the weapons the giant uses. Tracking your prey may reveal how strong they are. Stalking your prey may reveal the perfect place for traps and where and when to strike.
If you like playing with other creatures than the Lugonese monstrosities, this is an excellent option! Check it out here!
The Book is an illustrated guide to traditional card and dice games. Inspired by historical gambling and based on card games popular in different countries and eras, it has been structured into a book to enhance your gaming experience in 5E , RPGs, TTRPG games.
These games 🎲 can be incorporated into your adventures, offering a variety for your campaigns. LINK
The Eight Goal, The Road to 7k Opens!

– Thu, Aug 22, 2024 at 08:51:26 AM
Eyo all!
The final week has arrived, and we've reached the eight stretch goal! We're going to have some nice Lugonese Martial Feats for you all. Feats that will allow you to get that little bit of extra flare and power behind your martial characters, or perhaps put a more physical touch on your otherwise full caster. The base plan with this is to provide a good list of choices and manouvers, with stances to fill them out. However, this part is still under heavy construction/playtesting, so I can't say much more about it. Got to keep the spoilers to a minimum for our testers.
And so we've got 7 days left on the clock. We're going to fire up the cylinders for one final push, to see if we can get to that 6-7k. With a bit of luck, we'll have a couple more stretch goals under our best and perhaps even an entire new class to include in the book!
All the best,
Mark

Welcome to The Phoenix's Call, a D&D 5e campaign set in the world of Shadowmarch. This adventure will take you deep into the heart of the Order of the Phoenix Flame, where dark forces threaten to unleash an ancient evil. Join us as we embark on a journey filled with heroism, magic and epic battles.
The phoenix has not been seen for many years, indeed, some wondered if they would ever see it again (and some hoped they would not as it was not always a good omen to witness a full adult in flight). Then, unexpectedly, the phoenix returned!
In the ancient land of Shadowmarch, the Order of the Phoenix Flame stands as the last bastion against the darkness. For centuries, this order of fire mages and warriors has protected the realm from demonic incursions and sorcery. Now, a new threat has emerged: the Shadow Guild, a network of thieves, assassins and dark mages, seeks to unleash an ancient evil that could plunge Shadowmarch into eternal night.
As heroes called by destiny, you must aid the Order in their struggle. Your journey will take you from isolated monasteries and volcanic hot springs to ancient libraries and flame gardens, culminating in a final, epic battle against the forces of darkness. Will you answer the Phoenix's call?
The Seventh Goal, a new adventure starts!

Eyo all!
And with 10 days on the clock, we've reached the seventh stretch goal! Like said before, this next stretch goal is special. 4500 is the amount that the previous project reached after the TTRPG Licensing troubles of last year threw a wrench in the plans. And so, we've got a good solid stretchgoal for this benchmark. Every race/species will get an extra subrace for more options and lore goodness. Some examples of the current ideas (subject to tweaking/change):
-
Tana: Coniferous subrace.
-
Cloudiz: Trench-dweller subrace.
-
Iruk: Arachnid subrace.
In addition, to celebrate, I'll be hosting a Q&A tomorrow via Twitch at 20:00 (GMT +1/+2, Amsterdam Time). I'll link it below as well. Thank you all a whole bunch and let's see how far we can get!
All the best,
Mark
P.S. I owe you guys a new Stretch Goal map, so here it is!

The Sixth Goal: The 4500 border within reach!

Eyo all!
We've reached the sixth stretch goal, and thus we've got enough budget to get two extra high-quality art pieces for our races/species. More arts means a more elegant book, so we're extra pumped. This allows us to bring more of Lugon into semi-reality and put form and cohesion to it. Plus, we've breached the 100 backers line too! We're almost legion!
The next stretch goal is special. It's the level that the previous project reached after the TTRPG Licencing troubles of last year threw a wrench in the plans. As such, we've got a big stretch goal for it: The addition of a subrace to each Lugon player race/species. This means every race/species has two options, with a grand total of 22 player options in this field. This also includes the subraces lore, such as potential differences in their culture and evolutionary path. Hope you're looking forward to it, because it's going to be great!

Eyo all!
After these past 1.5 weeks, we've gotten far. And I'm sure we'll be able to take this further. This is already a wild success and I couldn't be more grateful! So, giving you news and a couple more previews is only fair.
- First item: an interview with Midra! If you like listening a bit to me nerding out about Lugon, this is a great time. I also talk a bit about how far we are in the writing process and how we tackle it.
- Due to the KS' success, we've already commissioned extra artpieces. These will be used for species/race artwork and atmospheric Lugonese creature pieces.
- The PF1e version is 99.9% done, with the DnD5e and PF2e versions well underway. The lore is 100% done, it's only a matter of updating mechanics now. Things are going very smoothly.
And of course, this wouldn't be an update without some shout-outs to fellow TTRPG kickstarters!

Even the greatest adventurers need to take time away to enjoy the simple things in life. Trade polearms for fishing poles in this cozy solo adventure where characters can unwind and discover the thrill of a slack line suddenly going taught, the joy of reeling in an elusive catch, and the satisfaction of unlocking a new skill.
Gone Fishin' is the perfect solo-adventure for:
- Players who love D&D but don't have a group to play with at the moment.
- Players who already have a group but want more time with your character.
- Beginners who want to experience D&D in a fun and low-combat environment.
- Dungeon Masters looking to provide players with more downtime and roleplay opportunities.
Comic books are a window into the mind and souls of the artists who create them. Role playing games are doorways to the imagination.
In 2019 we laid the groundwork for bringing these two ideas together. House of Steel builds on that foundation. The world of Metahumans Rising was first imagined with our signature team, the Steel Aces, and expanded through over 20 published adventures, including the Chimera Code, the Iron Cycle, and Just Business.
Now, we are ready to share our world with you!
House of Steel opens up a sprawling universe of new possibilities.
When Metahumans Rising was released, we provided players and GMs the tools they needed to create a shared setting. House of Steel includes a detailed timeline spanning nearly a century, introducing dozens of new characters, factions, and species, each designed to inspire stories or enrich the worlds you’ve already crafted. Within these pages, you'll find everything you need to create campaigns, ranging from street-level tales of survival to facing off against the Galactic threats of the Metahumans Rising setting. If you're looking to join House of Steel, there are reward levels and add ons for brand new players.
