Urgent Shipping, Survey Deadline & Printing Update
20 days ago – Sat, Feb 07, 2026 at 12:37:10 PM

Eyo all!

I got quite some updates, some of which are better than others. Let's make this quick and get through this:

  • Shipping: I'll have to be honest. With the things going on in the world right now, shipping costs are not stable. They have increased quite a bit. Still, I am not willing to throw random extra shipping costs onto you all. I am very grateful for all your support, after all. Instead, I want to give the option to help, but for something in return. If you go into your survey again from the moment this update has been sent, you'll find another option there: a shipping offset option. You can choose one one-page oneshot, including its high-def map with and without markers, for 2 euros (about 2.4 dollars). You can also choose the bundle with all 6 of them for 10 euros, or be the absolute general adventurer and chip in for a bit more. Do note that this is all optional. Regardless of people chipping in, you will all get your items as soon as they're printed, and I have all things in order. These rewards are all PDFs and will be available the moment the surveys close.
  • Survey Deadline: In tandem with the shipping, I am putting some deadlines in place. The shipping offset is active and will be for about two weeks. After these two weeks, I will be sending out another update to remind people of the survey and to urge those who didn't fill in their survey to do so. The surveys will close two weeks after that reminder (so four weeks from now). After this deadline, I'll be setting things in actual motion for the physical side of things.
  • Printing: There is good news as well. I have found a printer that is capable of manufacturing very high-quality books for a very nice price. Which means that I probably have space to put a few more upgrades in place. Namely, woven spines instead of glued, which means the durability of the book is increased immensely, gold foil or UV spot lacquer for the cover to make the title pop, a scratch-resistant mat surface for the cover itself, and higher quality and heavier paper within the book itself. I am personally visiting the printer next week, and we'll hopefully start printing a day or so after. I just hope my little home has enough space for the books!

Cheers and enjoy!

Start of 2026 Update! A shift in tempo.
about 2 months ago – Sun, Jan 11, 2026 at 01:28:59 PM

Eyo all!

A short update from me. Surveys have been sent out! For any questions and such, do message me so I can help.

  • Progress:
    • General: A2 map is being made and finalized.
    • 5E version is done. PDF has been uploaded to Backerkit to be distributed once orders are locked.
    • PF1e: PDF almost done, uses the 5E one as a layout basis so it is going rather quickly.
    • PF2e: Same as two weeks ago, this version will take some more time.
    • Other PDFs and content: The majority of non-PF2E PDF content has been uploaded to Backerkit. The PF1E content has been ordered at the printer for as far as I'm able.
  • Packages and Sending: As I am no longer able to adjust shipping rates, I might have to ask for the tarrif charges from backers before orders are locked. Will keep the USA people posted on that.
  • Community: As always, please spread the link to the Discord!

That's all the news I have for you. Nice and short, but hopefully it does give all of you a good bit of hype!

Cheers and enjoy!

End of 2025 Update! Happy Holidays/Merry Christmas to everyone!
2 months ago – Sat, Dec 27, 2025 at 12:14:03 AM

Eyo all!

It's been a while! I hope you're all enjoying your December revelries and are taking it easy. I got some news for all of you that you'll like to hear.

  • Progress:
    • General: Some major changes have been made to the layout after receiving a lot of feedback. The spells have been reformated to look nicer and more readable, and throughout the books, things have been improved in the beauty department a lot. A major change is that the map inside the book is going to be kept small; adding in a big map just doesn't work all that well when you have to break that map up. But... in exchange, every physical order gets an A2-sized map added to come with the hardcover. This way, we can keep the map in one piece, and it'll look amazing! The map will also be provided as a separate PNG file for the digital folks. No extra charge or anything, just an extra treat for the holidays! The map itself is already done, and the print for them is planned to start after the new year. I'll send in a picture when they're done!
    • 5E version is done! After 4 weeks of trying and messing around with colours, getting help and messing around some more, the book is in a state I'm happy with.
    • PF1e: Prestige class is almost finalised; the rest of the classes and content are already put into the PDF.
    • PF2e: The PF2e version had been put into the mother file as far as I'm able, but my conversion people haven't finished their work yet. They're as busy as everyone else in this time of year, so that's only logical.
  • Sneak Peak: For the festivities, I did promise a map. I am not going to post the full map here (that'd be weird), so I'll post the WIP version here. Hope you like it!
  • Packages and Sending: Good and bad news here. The good news is that I can ship to the USA relatively reliable now. The bad news is that I have no way of circumventing the 15% tarrif that has been placed there. Which means the shipping costs will have to be increased slightly to compensate. My apologies for this, but there's no other way for me to get the books to your doorstep for now. I'm open for suggestions (no Drivethru, already tried them).
  • Community: As always, please spread the link to the Discord!
  • Other news: I have also been working on more small one-page one-shots in between the Codex work. Look forward to those as well if you like smaller bite-sized bits of content!

That's all the news I have for you today. Apologies for the silence, but things have been frustratingly hectic on the printing, graphic design and shipping front. Thanks for sticking with me, and I'll speak to you all in the new year.

Cheers and enjoy the remaining days of 2025,

Mark

October 2025 Update! Spookiest update of the year!
4 months ago – Fri, Oct 31, 2025 at 02:13:59 PM

Eyo all!

Happy Halloween, everybody! Figured it'd be appropriate to give you all an update on this spooky little day. Hope you're all doing fine.

  • Progress: I can keep this nice and short. The 5E version is in the colour correction phase. Had some feedback about some of the pictures bugging out. That took a while to figure out how to fix. The PF1e version is getting another Prestige Class. Why? Because it didn't feel complete without it. The PF2e version is progressing steadily, with the rest of the conversion getting there.
  • Sneak Peak: For this spooky season, have a sneak preview of more Lugon Codex content! The Fallen Nation of Neradia! The Called are one of my favorite factions to run in Lugon. Even though they don't have much of a presence, there'll be plenty of content for them in the next couple of projects! On the preview, the picture shown references the nation on the page after, namely the Paros Empire. It also gives a good feel for how Neradia used to look, though!
  • Packages and Sending: In short... there are still issues with sending to the USA. Including confirmed disposals of packages that came from outside the USA. So I can't send them yet in good conscience. For the rest of the world, I've found relatively cheap parties. So hopefully that'll go great!
  • Community: As always, please spread the link to the Discord!

This is all the news I've got so far. I've got a small update planned mid October for some other things I'm planning. Now that the infrastructure for this is there, the next projects from the Wanderer Games should go infinitely smoother!

Cheers and happy spooking,

Mark

September 2025 Update! Seventh update of the year!
5 months ago – Thu, Oct 02, 2025 at 05:32:13 AM

Eyo all!

It's time for the Se-... Guess I forgot the time. Apologies everyone. This month the academic year started again, and work has been chaotic to say the least. This is the September update, despite it being posted on the second. Just pretend it’s still September for a moment, please!

  • Progress: The 5E version is about done for print. I’ve gotten some feedback from Alpha readers that is being addressed now. Regarding the printing, some of the pictures have turned out way darker than I would like, so I’m fixing that as well. I want all the artwork to look as good as I can make it. Good news for the PF2e version, too: There has been progress on the conversion. I still can’t pin a date in fear of being wrong, but steps are being made. If you have any feedback or suggestions, don't hesitate to message or post here! And sorry for the delays, I am a single person who’s trying to get this all done himself, so life can get in the way at times.
  • Sneak Peak: To tide you over, have a sneak preview of more Lugon Codex content! The Dusk of Life!
  • Packages and Sending: There are still issues with sending to the USA. The main service has not resumed sending yet. I am looking into alternatives that do not entail paying 20 dollars more than usual. Will keep all of you posted.
  • Community: As always, please spread the link to the Discord!
  • Update for a Show of Thanks and Support: I have noticed that some buttons didn’t appear properly in the shop on the site, so people couldn’t quite download the full packages. This has now been fixed. You can download extra tokens and the high-res maps (and the latest versions of the PDFs) properly now on the https://www.thewanderergames.com website. Still for free. Sorry for the confusion, and I hope you like the free content!

This is all the news I've got so far. The next update will stay in October, I promise.

Cheers,

Mark
